Dyson has just released a pair of headphones that look like they are right out of a science fiction movie. Dyson is a multinational technology company that deals primarily in vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, air purifiers, humidifiers and more, but this time around they have innovated a new product which will work as a 2-in-1 headset.
Dyson Zone 2 in 1 Headset
The latest product Dyson has released is called the Dyson Zone, it is a 2 -in-1 headset which works as a portable air purifier and an active noise cancelling headset. The company has understood the rapid growth of air pollution in the world, and has created this product with the base of 30 years filtration expertise.
The Dyson 2-in-1 Headset has a design that has never been seen before, it has a chunky headset which as active noise cancellation features and an air purifying visor that runs from one ear to another, covering the nose and mouth. The headset has compressors in the ear cups that pull in the air, it has a filter that eliminates particles and gases from the air.
There is an additional layer of purification as the purified air then passes from compressor into the visor and exits through a mesh, into the user’s mouth and nose. The user is then provided with his own bubble of clean air to breathe from. Dyson understands the increase of bacteria, allergens and other harmful materials in the air, and the Dyson Zone is here to tackle it with 6 years of research and 500 prototypes made.
The goal of Dyson Zone is to expand the company’s purification reach from indoors to outdoors too. One thing is for sure, not only have they created a state of the art portable air purification system, but have also worked on providing a high quality sound experience to the user of Dyson Zone.
Dyson Zone has microphones on the outside which record all the incoming sounds and are eliminated through a proprietary algorithm. The company has created high quality mannequins with true to life lungs and ears that simulate actual breathing and the feel of the ears. These headphones have been created with snug ear cups, which are design to cup the ears of the user perfectly, to provide proper isolation and high frequencies.
There is no official release date of pricing announced for the Dyson Zone 2 in1 headphones, but interested buyers can sign up on their website to be informed whenever these details are released.
