Players have been receiving a lot of GTA 6 leaks lately, some leaks have stated the game could be in a modern setting, others have stated multiple cities, character information and more. There has also been a lot of discussion about the release plans for GTA 6 and many are speculating for it to be delayed till 2024.
Even though the release of the game cannot be expected so soon, the players are still anticipating some kind of announcement or trailer for the highly hyped GTA title. But, unfortunately this might not be the case for 2022, according to a latest conversation on Twitter between industry experts shows that a GTA 6 trailer might not release this year after all.
A recent post on Twitter by Rockstar enthusiast, Ben, goes by the handle videotech_ posted a tweet stating that he feels that there is nothing new releasing from Rockstar Games apart from a DLC for the new next-gen version of GTA Online, he feels that there ‘maybe’ a trailer for GTA 6 in 2022. He also said that an enhanced version of RDR2 is surely to boost sales for the company and they are already working on new frame-rate enhancements, extra content for RDRO and Story Mode & the Editor.
In the same thread there were other experts such as Kyle and Klementine commented that they do not feel a GTA 6 trailer will be released this year. Klementine also added that Jason Schreier expects the trailer release to slip to 2023. Jason Schreier then responded to whole conversation saying that it was a random guess and that he does not know for sure. Check out the conversation below:

This news comes as shock to many as it was understood earlier that Rockstar was accelerating development in order to push for a reveal. But, according to these revelations it seems like a trailer does not seem likely in 2022. Many players and fans will want at least some kind of reveal to be announced this year.
